We are located in the beautiful oceanside town of Ventura, California, named as one of America's Most Livable communities by Partners for Livable Communities during a National Press Club event in Washington, D.C.

**Job Requirements**:
*Science or Chemistry degree a plus
*Excellent computer skills knowledge of MS Word and Excel a must
*Ability to work with mínimal supervision, work well with others in team, maintain and create new systems.
*Experience with hands-on nuts and bolts workshop environment a plus.
*Be reliable, responsible to clients for correct shipment of equipment and sampling media.

**Responsibilities**:
*Sample receiving, logging into LIMS System via data entry, sample disposal
*Maintain, calibrate and track sampling equipment
*Prepare, package and ship light sampling equipment and sampling media via online shipping carriers.
*Must be able to communicate effectively with clients in matters of sample shipment and Chain of Custody procedures.
*Prepare weekly/daily logs.
*Clean & prepare glassware.

**Skills/Qualifications**:
Lab environment, attention to detail, technical focus, computer skills, equipment maintenance/custodian, log keeping

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
