Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

- Generally, assist in the maintenance of Park landscaping and grounds.
- Perform general landscape maintenance using hand held landscape maintenance equipment and small machinery. This includes, without limitation, mowing, edging, hand trimming, fertilizing, aerating and utilizing approved weed control methods.
- Prepare areas for seed, sod, and herbaceous plant material.
- Perform tasks related to debris removal, including removal of plant material and litter. This will require, from time to time, operation of utility vehicles for hauling materials.
- Maintain trees, hedges, and shrubs by planting, trimming, pruning, watering, spraying, and weeding.
- Perform irrigation maintenance related tasks, including audit and repair.
- Operate vehicles and equipment throughout the Park safely.
- Maintain awareness of potential hazards in the respective work areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.
- Reliable transportation to and from work required.
- Ability to take direction, follow instruction, and perform work as assigned.
- Experience a plus
