Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in our community. As a Babysitter/Nanny, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the children under your care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young ones. Duties: - Engage with children in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, educational games, and crafts - Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children - Follow established routines and schedules for feeding, napping, and playtime - Change diapers and assist with potty training as needed - Ensure a safe environment by closely monitoring children's activities - Administer basic first aid when necessary - Maintain cleanliness and organization of children's play areas and bedrooms - Collaborate with parents to ensure consistent care and address any concerns or special instructions Experience: - Previous experience working with children of various ages - Knowledge of infant and toddler care practices - Familiarity with first aid procedures for children - Understanding of child development stages and milestones - Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with parents and children Skills: - Experience working with children in a childcare or daycare setting - Ability to cook nutritious meals for children - Knowledge of educational activities to promote learning and development - Proficiency in providing infant care, including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required This is a paid position. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
