Dog Walker/pet Sitter

Duties:

- Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring their safety and well-being during the walks.
- Provide exercise and mental stimulation for dogs through play and interactive activities.
- Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding their pets such as walking routes, feeding schedules, and any special needs or requests.
- Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly, clean litter areas.
- Monitor dogs and cats for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to the pet owner or supervisor.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with pet owners and other individuals encountered during walks.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with dogs & cats, such as dog walking, pet sitting, or working in a kennel.
- Knowledge of basic dog behavior and understanding of different breeds' specific needs.
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments safely and confidently.
- Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy lifting (e.g., lifting large dogs or bags of dog food).
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes or designated walking areas.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Current phone with unlimited data.
- Reliable automobile & reside within 8 miles of central point.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 34 per week
