We are hiring Lower School Teachers for the 2024-2025 school year.

**Experience & Education Requirements**

For teachers, we prefer individuals with 3+ years of teaching experience and experience or exposure in urban education or ministry. To learn more about the type of teacher we are looking for, please read our Portrait of a Teacher. Teachers are required to possess a Bachelor's degree but do not require a current certification.

**Elementary School Teacher Duties Include**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other forms of evaluation
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students who may require additional assistance or early intervention
- Manage classroom behavior and enforce discipline according to school policies
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in education

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
