Production Planner

**Position Summary**:
Production Planner is defined as: Provides timely planning, creation, and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve customer delivery dates.

Planning, scheduling, coordinating and/or monitoring the flow of products through the complete production cycle to ensure timely delivery of products to both internal and external customers.

**Duties and Responsibilitie**s:

- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating production of the company’s products within assigned areas.
- Creating production orders in alignment with the master production schedule.
- Assessing Materials, Labor Capacity, and Machine Capacity for schedule attainment
- Ensuring continuous supply of assigned parts and communicating any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.
- Coordinate between areas to ensure parts deliveries are properly prioritized.
- Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all company-related interactions.

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Experience in planning and scheduling of manufacturing processes in an MRP/ERP system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to negotiate, establish, and process contracts
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact cross-organizationally
- Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to problem-solve creatively and analytically
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Two years previous experience in planning position or related position
- High school degree or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Ability to understand a Part Schematic’s preferred

**Preferred Experience and Qualifications**:

- Epicor MRP experience
- SQL Database
- SolidWorks (software) experience a Plus
- Experience with machined and fabricated parts

**Hours/Schedule**:
Full Time

40 hours/week

Hourly wage range: $2-$25

Schedule: 7:30AM-4:00PM Monday-Friday
