**QUALIFICATIONS**:
1. Graduate degree in early childhood education or child development.

2. Five or more years of relevant job experience.

3. Responsibility of employee to obtain and maintain all training(s), certificate(s), approval(s), etc. and provide documentation to the business office before expiration date of said document(s).

4. Proof of a negative TB test.

5. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.

6. Required to have a physical presence at the designated job site each scheduled work day.

7. Must have regular and reliable job attendance, performance, and the physical ability to do the job.

**PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Demonstrate knowledge of the Early Childhood Standards of Quality for Pre-Kindergarten.

2. Demonstrate knowledge and expertise of child development, preschool curricula, child assessment and screening tools, adult learning styles, cultural diversity, county-wide early childhood programs and quality improvement.

3. Provide written and verbal feedback to program staff throughout the year to promote program improvement as per GSRP implementation manual.

4. Assist with curriculum and assessment planning and implementation.

5. Facilitate the development of meaningful child improvement goals and objectives with each unique teaching team.

6. Plan and deliver early childhood professional development and training experiences for teaching teams working in early childhood programs based on identified classroom needs.

7. Serve as a liaison between the St. Joseph County ISD, local school districts and early childhood community stakeholders. Advocate for local Great Start Readiness Programs.

8. Demonstrate knowledge of GSRP requirements, policies and procedures.

9. Demonstrate professional improvement through in-service attendance, CEU's or college credit, SCECHS, conference attendance and reading professional literature.

10. Support GSRP program staff with ongoing, regular technical assistance to ensure grant compliance and high quality programming.

11. Collaborate with Great Start to Quality Resource Center staff as it relates to the work of supporting GSRP classroom staff to comply with State guidelines.

12. Participate in coordinated countywide effort to recruit and enroll children in preschool.

13. Assist Director of Early Childhood Services with projects on an as needed basis.

14. Maintain appropriate records.

15. Use universal precautions at all times for personal health and safety.

16. Perform other duties as assigned by the St. Joseph County Intermediate School District Administrators.

**PERFORMANCE APPRAISALS**:Director of Early Childhood Supervisor

**TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT**:This is a 200 day position. Salary and conditions of employment are determined by the Board of Education.
