**SPANISH TEACHER**

Doane Academy, an independent day school for grades pre-K-12 located in Burlington, NJ, seeks a full-time Spanish teacher for the 2024-25 school year. This individual will have the opportunity to bring our school mission to life as they deliver an inclusive curriculum that increases students’ Spanish proficiency and communicative confidence, and that fosters their appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures. Spanish teachers at Doane aspire to deliver a continuum of instruction that will equip students to function in immersive Spanish language experiences.

**Qualifying Education and Experience**
- Required:_
- Experience with and/or training in middle and upper level Spanish instruction
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to teach solely in target language
- Enthusiasm for, and knowledge about, Spanish-speaking culture and international travel; willingness to lead a Spanish club for students
- Preferred:_
- Experience teaching Advanced Placement Spanish
- Undergraduate concentration in Spanish and language education and/or a Master’s degree in Spanish
- Professional experience in an independent school setting

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
