Plastic Omnium Module division develops, assembles and delivers complex, just-in-sequence modules for mass production. - **Plant Manager Essential Functions/Duties**:

- In close collaboration with the Director of Industrial Operations of HBPO North America, per HBPO’s vision/mission, per HBPO’s quality policy, and promoting HBPO North America’s values of entrepreneurship, network synergies, focus and process control:

- Lead HBPO’s legal entity in Austin, including Personnel and Financial performance.
- The scope of the assignment consists in:

- 1 JIT Plant in Manor, Texas (Annual revenue approx.. US. $110M, staff approx.. 136)
- Leadership of the Austin legal entity (In close collaboration with the Director of Industrial Operations, HBPO North America):

- Lead US5 legal entity regarding the bylaws, manage local personnel and financial resources, and all local operational activities such as JIT-plants existing and to come. Develop business plans and improvement plans. Monitor results with complete transparency and accuracy. Anticipate and execute corrective actions to meet financial targets. Meet or exceed all targets. Actively represent the best interest of the group HBPO, short-term and long-term, in all Canadian-related activities with HBPO collaborators, customers, suppliers, local institutions and third parties, and parent companies.
- Leadership of the Austin Operation:

- In close collaboration with the Director of Industrial Operations, HBPO North America, and close collaboration with the North American Management team of central departments and program management: Plan, set including personnel, equipment, and maximize efficiency of JIT-plant in Canada within budgets & timing constraints, and following all deliverable including logistics optimization. Process optimization, and quality & delivery targets.
Continuously and aggressively optimize each program’s net income, ROCE, cash flows, and Key Performance Indicators.
- In close collaboration with the Corporate headquarters (including IO, IE, and QM), define, continuously refine, and enforce industrial standards in North America.
- Ensure that employees work safely - wearing prescribed PPE. Taking every precaution reasonable, providing awareness of risks.
- In agreement with all parties involved: plan and execute operational activities that maximize synergies and efficiencies within the Canadian plant, or that improve results, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Director of Operations and the Customer of Quality related nonconforming matters requiring immediate repair
- Support and/or drive adherence, changes, or improvements tied to improved overall plant Health and Safety.
- Take every precaution reasonable to protect the Health and Safety of the workers.
- Responsible for implementation and monitoring of ISO / TS Certification
- Ensuring compliance to and participation in IATF 16949 and CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) compliance & ISO 14001 certification.
- Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Quality Manager for quality-related nonconforming matters requiring immediate repair.
- Follow the division’s KPIs and implement strategies to achieve divisional goals and objectives.
- Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the supervisor and JHSC for safety-related matters requiring immediate attention.
- Supporting the launch of ISO 45001 and ISO 50001
- Other Duties as assigned

**Required Experience/Skills**:

- USA Business Regulations and Labour Relations
- 5+ years in a Plant Manager role
- JIT / JIS Processes
- Succesful start-up of JIT / JIS plants
- Knowledge of Shop Floor Systems
- Good organizational skills
- Strong communication-verbal and written
- Good problem-solving skills
- SAP knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Tier 1 supplier
