Janitor

**Northstar Frontier Services provides remote site services; catering, housekeeping and management to remote work camps for construction, railroad, and mining projects in Canada and the United States.**

**Requirements**:

- Janitorial experience considered an asset
- Must be able to move continuously (push, pull, stretch, walk, bend) during work hours and able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work a variety of shifts (morning, afternoons, overnights, holidays, and weekends)
- Be accessible to meet the needs of the clients
- Criminal background check is conducted and paid by the employer as a condition of employment.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Perform janitorial duties on a daily basis
- Vacuum, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Wash windows, walls and ceilings
- Move furniture, equipment and supplies
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- Ensure all Safe Operating Procedures are followed and adhered to
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and conduct
- Report any safety concerns/hazards immediately to the Facility Manager

Pay: From $14.25 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
