**Financial Operations Coordinator / Bookkeeper**

**Rice Memorial High School**

**Summary**:
The Finance Operations Coordinator at Rice Memorial High School oversees accounts payable, tuition management, financial aid, employee benefits, and food service operations. Responsibilities include processing invoices, managing delinquent tuition accounts, coordinating billing and financial aid for students, liaising with the Diocese, and overseeing the Free and Reduced Lunch program. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication with stakeholders, and adherence to financial protocols. Additionally, maintaining document security and fostering a positive work environment are essential aspects of the position.

**Manage Accounts Payable**:

- Obtain approval signatures from department heads.
- Organize and process invoices in Accounting Software
- Print and mail checks
- Reconcile monthly credit card statements.

**Manage Tuition Billing and Financial Aid**:

- Manage billing processes for various student groups.
- Assist with editing payment schedules and methods.
- Coordinate additional billing as needed.

**Handle Collection of Delinquent Tuition Accounts**:

- Communicate with delinquent account holders, offering payment options.
- Update Finance Committee on account status.
- Coordinate with Collections Agency and send accounts after graduation.
- Run bi-weekly reports and contact customers for payment.

**Act as Liaison with the Diocese**:

- Communicate with HR regarding contracts, insurance, payroll, and benefits.
- Maintain records of employee absences and substitute coverage.

**Oversee Food Service Management**:

- Handle Free and Reduced Lunch program administration.
- Liaise between the Food Service Company, RMHS, and Diocese.
- Prepare documentation for audits and contract bidding.

**Skills**:

- Strong accounting experience required
- Proficiency with Office 365, Excel, and Google Sheets
- Strong spreadsheet skills mandatory

**Hiring rate**:

- **$23-$26 per hour**

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
