**We are looking for a breakfast host for our hotel free breakfast buffet. Weekends are required but all weekends as we have a wonderful team that helps each other cover shifts whenever one needs off. We are looking for a team player**

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Greet and welcome all guests.
- Be attentive to guests needs.
- Prepare food and beverages for service to guests and present food according to established health and presentation standards.
- Always maintain hand washing as needed according to established health standards.
- Control food to minimize waste.
- Clear and clean tables in a prompt and efficient manner. Clean and /or wipe down tables, chairs, high chairs, booster seats, walls, windows and floors as necessary.
- Ensure that the kitchen area and all cooking pans and utensils are kept clean, sanitized and put away as necessary when preparing food items and at the end of the shift using established health and hotel procedures.
- Ensure there are no chemicals stored in the kitchen area
- Weekly inventory must be completed and reported to General Manager prior to placing food orders
- Receive weekly food orders and ensure all refrigerated items are put away immediately.
- Perform department/outlet opening and closing duties as required.
- Follow hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times. Immediately report any safety/service incident to the Manager on Duty.
- Take action to solve guest issues/complaints and use established guidelines for service recovery to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
- Work as a team and communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**

Basic reading and writing. Food service experience with general knowledge of restaurant operations preferred.

This job requires ability to perform the following:

- Carrying or lifting items weighting up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms
- Moving about the kitchen, serving and dining area
- Handling food objects; pans, trays, etc.
- Bending, stooping, kneeling

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
