**Job Summary**:
Manages psychological problems such as depression, anxiety, stress, and personality disorders of patients.

**Job Responsibilities and Requirements**:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as resource to other disciplines on patient problems related to depression, anxiety, stress, and behavior modification.
- Assesses patient's psychological status and provides interventions/treatments such as relapse prevention for addictive behaviors, stress management and positive coping skills.
- Collaborates with other professionals to provide appropriate psychological therapy for patient.
- Participates in clinical rotation experiences and education seminars.
- Participates in individual and group supervision.
- Provides behavioral information for the community that may include public speaking, news releases and other forms of publications.
- Provides psychological expertise and education to multidisciplinary team of professionals.
- Provides psychological testing under supervision of neuropsychologist.
- Refers patients to other disciplines for consult and evaluations as indicated.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
- School letter documenting eligibility for predoctoral internship by academic program and participation in the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) internship match.

EXPERIENCE
- Seven hundred supervised clinical hours

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent reaching, sitting, standing and walking.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish colors.
- Occasional driving.
- Rare repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements and squatting.
