**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate saw equipment to cut aluminum materials to required specifications
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and drawings to determine cutting requirements
- Adjust saw settings to ensure accurate and precise cuts
- Monitor machine operations to ensure efficiency and safety
- Maintain saw equipment by performing routine maintenance and cleaning
- Inspect cut materials to ensure they meet quality standards
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow
- Perform additional duties as required

**Knowledge & Skills**
- Able to communicate professionally, verbally and in writing, with team members, vendors and customers.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience performing routine maintenance operations and working with hand tools, specifically with industrial saws
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math and accurate measuring skills

**Experience**
- 2 + years proven experience as a saw operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment

**Education**
- High school diploma or equivalent required

**Other Requirements**
- This position works in a production facility and is regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use hands and have finger dexterity
- Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, and crouch occasionally
- Must be able to safely lift 40 pounds
