**MAINTENANCE OPERATOR**:
Our team in **Lancaster** currently has an opening for a **Maintenance Operator**
**YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain plant facility equipment. Such as pumps/ meters/hoses/Etc.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment.
- Perform minor repairs on trucks /trailers/forklifts/ and other equipment. DOT and internal audit record keeping.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, prints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on pumps, equipment and plant facilities.
- Insert shims, adjust tension on nuts and bolts, or position parts, using hand tools and measuring instruments, to set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts.
- Perform a variety of grounds related basic maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, etc.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Move machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
- Attach moving parts and subassemblies to basic assembly unit, using hand tools and power tools.
- Assemble machines, and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Must be able to certify on site specific mobile equipment as required (front end loader, forklift, man lift, etc.) for specific job duties.
- General understanding of electrical equipment such as motors and control circuits
- Welding Experience preferred.
- Ability to learn process, equipment specifications and company standards by actively consulting resources, associates, manuals, training department and policies
- Ability to work independently and take a proactive approach to all work assignments
- Ability to perform work while exposed to outside weather conditions: heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity
- Ability to wear PPE equipment
