**Hourly rate is inclusive of a $1.00/hr. salary stipend and a $1.00/hr. direct care stipend. Applicants with Certified Nursing Assistant ("CNA") certificates, and who are on the State's CNA registry, will be paid an additional $.50/hour.**

As our newest Habilitation Aide, you will provide paraprofessional support work involving the direct care, and rehabilitation of patients. Responsibilities include: implementing programs, treatment and education of those with severe and persistent mental illness and providing their direct patient care. Riverview Psychiatric Center is seeking a Habilitation Aide to provide paraprofessional work in implementing programs and activities of an educational, rehabilitative, or recreational nature for patients and residents in our facility under the direction and supervision of professional staff. Responsibilities include preparing, implementing, and overseeing individual and/or group activities of an habilitative nature for patients/residents; training, supervising, and providing support to patients/residents participating in programs or activities; observing and recording observations related to patient/resident attendance, participation level, behavior, and progress; and reporting observations to professional staff.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
Two (2) years of education, training or experience working as a Mental Health Worker I or providing direct care to mentally or physically disabled individuals or other directly related habilitative or educational work.
