Storeroom Clerk is primarily responsible for management of subsistence and supplies in the Dining Facility. Personnel must be familiar with procedural receiving, storage and accountability requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of two years cafeteria storeroom/warehouse operations experience.
- Working knowledge of receiving, inspecting, verifying, storing and issuing perishable, semi-perishable and non-perishable subsistence, plus paper products, chemicals and small wares.
- Understanding of inventory management systems, processes, valuation and internal controls.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Must be a high school or GED graduate.

**Required Skills**:

- Must be able to pass criminal background check.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Abilities to read, interpret, write and comprehend information.
- Must be able to use several software programs (training will be provided).
- Perform moderate mathematical calculations especially weights, measures and conversions.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to frequently move objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted, and occasionally lift or move objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.
- Positions require ability and willingness to continually work while standing and/or walking with frequent stooping, bending, reaching, pushing and pulling.

**Subsistence Storage**: Responsible for procedural storage of all subsistence delivered to Dining Facility. Personnel must remember subsistence is company property and must be safeguarded from waste, spillage, fraud and abuse. This area of duties includes but is not limited to:

- Protects subsistence through security measures and proper rotation and handling.
- Dates each item upon receiving, and places subsistence in proper storage area.
- Conducts periodic checks to ensure all freezer and refrigeration units are maintaining proper temperatures. Immediately notifies PM of any equipment problems.

Pay: $17.58 per hour
