**JF Restaurants** and Michelin-Starred, Award-winning Chef **John Fraser** are on the hunt for a dynamic and talented **Bartender** to bolster our opening FOH team for our brand new soon to open restaurant in the vibrant heart of Downtown Boston. As a culinary powerhouse with acclaimed eateries in New York, Tampa, and Los Angeles, JF Restaurants sets the bar high for exceptional cuisine, unparalleled hospitality, and unforgettable dining experiences.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and making recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glasses
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient service
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in using a Toast POS (Point of Sale) system to process orders and payments
- Strong basic math skills for calculating bills, handling cash, and making change
- Knowledge of brewing techniques, cocktail recipes, and drink garnishments
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate customer needs and provide personalized recommendations
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus
- Familiarity with retail math for inventory management purposes
- Understanding of food service regulations, including proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

**Requirements**:

- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Must be willing to take and maintain TIPS Certification, if not currently certified
