**SUMMARY**:
The Customer Support Specialist is tasked with greeting, educating, supporting, and following up with all gym goers during their shift. This position requires a well-rounded customer service experience.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Establish a true connection by knowing members and repeat clients by first name
- Tour potential clients through APEX and educate them on our unique offerings & etiquette
- Follow up with clients after classes to learn about their experiences and to make expert
recommendations of classes and membership offerings that fit their needs
- Completely and accurately enter all of the appropriate client identification information into
database, including use of contact logs to track interactions
- Understand the differences between our class/gym experience and other Parkour gyms
- Know the coaches and attend classes to become personally familiar with their teaching style and expertise so that you may refer clients to coaches based on client’s needs and personality
- Familiarize yourself with our retail offering
- Clearly understand the value of the various membership & other pricing options, benefits,
discounts, and special promotions
- Adhere to all APEX School of Movement non-negotiables surrounding the experience
- May also be asked to be familiar with and perform SHIFT LEAD duties.
**GYM OPERATIONS**:
- Ensure the retail area is organized, clean and stocked
- Always maintain a well-organized and clean work environment at the front desk / lobby area
- Ensure the bathrooms are stocked and clean
- Ensure the Birthday Room is clean and organized
- Ensure athletes are properly reserved for class, with waiver and payment on file and coaches have materials needed to conduct classes
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Basic knowledge of computer systems & develop a functional understanding of the POS System (Mindbody Online)
- Ability to proactively solve problems, share solutions, and support other team members
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to develop and maintain an understanding of the local competition at a high level
- Excitement to learn, grow, and take on feedback
Pay: $16.85 - $17.85 per hour
