**Caffe Attendant**:
The Caffe Attendant ensures that guests are aware of the retail products available for purchase and maintains a high level of expertise on products and explains their purpose, ingredients, suggested uses or other related information.

**Caffe & Beverage Cart Attendant**:
The Caffe & Beverage Cart Due Attendant will be responsible for greeting and serving guests around the Golf Course or in the Golf Caffe.

**Caffe Attendant**:

- Provides friendly, efficient, and responsive service to all customers during sales transactions at the Caffe.
- Serve pastries and light lunches, assist with the preparation of beverage and menu items, and continually seek to improve knowledge of specialty coffee and gourmet meal service.
- Responsible for maintaining sanitation and upkeep of all equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Caffe & Beverage Cart Attendant**:

- Deliver world class service to our guests.
- Keep a clean well stocked beverage cart and caffe and be able to describe all items you offer.
- Use the guests’ names at all times, know and acknowledge all VIPs by name.
- Oversee cart maintenance and verify cart condition to ensure proper function.
- Oversee Caffe equipment and its proper use.
- Operate as a member of a team, helping others and requesting help as needed.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Remain flexible between both outlets.
- Operate the cash register/Micros and Square reader correctly.
- Conduct thorough inventory checks and fill inventory form correctly.
- Assist management as needed to ensure smooth operation and quality service.
- Control the amount of alcohol served, so that guests do not become intoxicated.
- Promote a safe and clean environment for co-workers and guest.
- Follow and execute The Resort at Pelican Hill Core Service Standards as outlined in training.

**Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations**:

**Caffe Attendant**:

- Minimum of one year as a Barista, preferably in a coffee house or hotel/resort setting.
- Must possess effective verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess customer needs.
- Google Apps experience a plus.

**Caffe & Beverage Cart Attendant**:

- Must be 21+ years of age.
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language with excellent communications skills.
- Capable of operating a motorized cart on a daily basis.
- Capable of serving alcoholic beverages only to guests over 21 years of age.
- Previous Food and Beverage, Cafe or Beverage Cart operation experience.

**Compensation**:
Base Pay Start Rate: $16.00
This position may receive gratuities or may participate in a tip pool.
