Meet Connect Church:
In 1985, a dream was born in the heart of Pastor Ernie Frye, a vision that would eventually grow into the community we know as Connect. While the name has changed over the years, the spirit of our Church has remained: a bible teaching, spirit filled community where lives are transformed, relationships flourish, and the love of God permeates every corner. Pastor Ernie and Randa Frye pioneered our church and established a dynamic ministry that has a rich legacy. Our Lead Pastor, Deryck Frye, has continued to carry this legacy forward. Under Paster Deryck’s leadership Connect has exploded Not only is Connect consistently expanding and growing but one of our best traits is the family culture married with our aggressive focus on our mission.

Connect Church is one of the branches under Connect United which also has a Christian School, three Early Learning Centers, and a Mission in the Dominican Republic. Connect Church currently has three campuses as well as an on-line campus. Our church community is multi-generational and multi-cultural with a vibrant young adult community.

With dedicated staff and passionate Dream Team members, we desire to have a deep and lasting impact on the MetroWest Area. Here at Connect we our message and mission is simply to help connect people to the life-giving message of Jesus.

The Next-Gen Pastor is responsible for providing leadership, development, discipleship and direction for Next Generation ministries icnluding Connect Kids (Kindergarten - 5th grade), Connect Youth (6th - 12th), and the 508 (college age and young adults). This is a central rol and will support all the campuses.

What you’ll be doing:

- Provide Vision and Strategy for the Growth of the Next Generation: Increase the attendance numbers of the next generation and help them become fully devoted followers of Christ.
- Pastor Priority Relationships & Leaders: The Next Gen Pastor is responsible for establishing and nurturing priority relationships with key leaders including Kid’s Administrative Director, Connect Youth Director, and the Young Adult Director (the 508).
- Lead the Next Generation Ministry of Connect Church, advancing the spiritual formation of birth to young adults into fully devoted followers of Christ. Lead the team, both paid and volunteer, who serve this generation.
- Increase the Next Gen Dream Team in their leadership and capacity and help them grow.
- Make the Next Generation Ministry a genuine, integral, and visible part of Connect Church life, evidenced in diverse ways including engaging the adult family members of the generations.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
