**Job Overview**:
Aspart of the Pool Deck Staff,you'llbe responsible forenforcing pool rules and ensuring the safety ofresidents/guests in the pool area.

The shift for this position varies but this person will work 32 hours a week.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Enforcing all pool rules and regulations in a polite and professional manner.
- Oversee the pool area
- Make safety announcements
- Maintain an inventory of all poolside equipment toalways be in good working condition for guests
- Ensure the safety of residents and guestsutilizingthe pool area.
- Provideinformation and services to residents
- Assistswith set up and breakdown of poolsideactivitiesas needed
- Ensure bathers are showering prior toenteringpool.
- Clean up the general pool area by returning chairs and equipment back to proper locations.
- Report anysafetyor maintenance concerns toManager.
- Maintains bathrooms and general cleaning of facility
- Checks sports equipment (ping pong, Tennis, Pickle ball and others) to make sure they arein good working order for guest use
- Inspects Gym equipment for missing or broken parts.
- Reports broken sports equipment tothe managerso that replacement equipment can be ordered.
- Beaccessible to and approachabletoresidents/guests..
- Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and carry out the policies and proceduresappropriate forhis/her position.
- Follow safety procedures andmaintaina safe work environment.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Minimum of High School diploma. CPR Certification is desirable.
- Experience in the hospitalityor serviceindustry
- Experience and training in customer service is highly desirable.
- Experience in an aquatic setting desirable.
- Basic cleaning skills
- Work in a teamenvironment
- Highly effective interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities, and advanced communication skills a plus.
- Must present a professional image. Must be outgoing and able to work with all types of people.
- Accountable for one's own work, decisions and safety of oneself and safety of oneself and others.
- Capable of working extended hours,includingevenings,weekendsandholidaysas necessary.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills;.
- Multiple language fluency is desirable..
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skillsrequired.
- Ability to lift 30 - 50lbs
- Work in an upright standing position forlong periodsof time
- Walk and climb stairs
- Reach with hands and arms
- Communicate,receiveand exchange ideas and informationby means ofthe spoken and written word
- Ability toquickly and easily navigate the property/buildingasrequiredto meet the job functions
- Ability to respond to emergenciesin a timely manner.
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.

**Compensation**:
$20.00 per hour
