**Job Summary and Qualifications**:
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.
**In This Role You Will**:
The Med Surg Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. In addition, the registered professional nurse prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises and evaluates patient teaching and the activities of the ancillary nursing personnel while maintaining the standards of professional nursing.
**In This Role You Will Have**:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- A minimum of one year acute care hospital RN experience.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

We have served Sebring, Florida, and the surrounding counties since 1965. We offer advanced technology, attracting the most qualified physicians and surgeons in the area. Our Emergency Room is the area’s only dedicated Senior ER. This features designated parking and hearing amplifiers. This also offers optical devices, specific discharge planning and personal scheduling assistance. All patient directives are clear, easing tension. Our Orthopedic Institute provides an upscale environment for joint replacements. Patients are at ease in our facility. The hospital specializes in mínimally invasive procedures. These result in shorter hospital stays and a faster recovery.
