**Job Purpose**

Assist co-workers in offering the best experiences possible to restaurant guests, supporting the AAA Four Diamond brand expectation. The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders to tables.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Promptly greeting guest upon arrival
- Promote the Osthoff Resorts service principle by example; respond to/resolve Guest inquiries, complaints or concerns in a courteous, timely and efficient manner. Make sure to inform Restaurant Manager/Supervisor/Team Leader of problems.
- Assist servers as needed with delivering food/drinks.
- Smile while engaging with guests, never say “I don’t know”, instead say “Let me go find someone who can help or know the answer”
- Assist in the checklists at the beginning/end of each shift with the team
- Be willing to help fill in as needed to ensure guests needs are being met
- All other duties as assigned

- Strong customer/ guest service skills
- Ability to exhibit a cheerful demeanor toward others.
- Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with self-motivation.
- Must be able to have a positive attitude with the willingness to go above and beyond what is expected. Possess great time management skills, with the ability to think on the spot.
- Must possess a positive attitude as a contributor to a diverse work environment
- Must have flexibility in time to meet the business needs of the department and Organization
- Ability to learn quickly and accurately.

**Working Conditions**

Working conditions vary based on business needs. Work may entail both indoor and outdoor activities, nights, weekends, and holidays, as necessary. Environment can be fast paced, and Associate will need to be able to multi-task and prioritize duties during service. Associate will also be expected to help other Osthoff Associates.

**Language Skills**

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
