Envestnet is seeking a passionate and talented **Architect** to join our Technology team. This position is expected to report to either our Berwyn, PA or Raleigh, NC office.

**Job Summary**:
You should have strong hands-on technical skills, extensive knowledge of AWS Technologies, and the ability to work with senior stakeholders. You will design solution architectures and develop components of Envestnet’s next generation platform, focusing on modern user interfaces, cloud native back-end services and big data processing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be responsible for the delivery of high-quality architectural solutions, while ensuring compliance with company policies
- Design stable and flexible high-performance solutions, maximizing reuse and avoiding redundancy.
- Works with other stakeholders in optimizing architecture solutions.
- Work closely with senior management to ensure projects deliverables.
- Stay on top of new technologies and trends and help the organization to stay ahead of the technology curves.
- As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years of senior software development experience with demonstrated ability to design software systems and to influence and assist development teams in implementing those designs.
- Bachelors’ computer science or software development
- Expertise in Spring / Spring Boot
- Fundamental wealth management business domain knowledge
- The team uses the following technologies. Good knowledge and experience in these technologies are required:

- AWS solution architecture designs and implementations
- Java / J2EE programming
- SOA and microservices
- Python programming language
- SQL / Database knowledge
- Kubernetes / Istio
- Apache Airflow / MWAA
- Apache Spark
- Terraform / Gitlab
- Basic UNIX experience and comfortable with bash
- Agile development methodology
- Excellent verbal, written and team communication skills.
- Must be able to learn and operate autonomously.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree preferred
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a big plus.
- Experience with Snowflake is a big plus.
- Experience with Machine learning / AI.
