Esl/dl Instructor

The **ESL and DL instructor **will play an essential role in helping refugee clients to reach their digital literacy and English proficiency goals by designing and delivering ESL and ESL-Digital Literacy classes, which includes but is not limited to the following duties:

- Conducting activities and lessons based on established teaching methodologies.
- Teaching all classes according to an approved course syllabus
- Designing and teaching basic digital literacy classes
- Maximizing students’ speaking time through oral tests and presentations.
- Displaying excellent classroom management.
- Keeping accurate records of student performance.
- Maintaining standardized guidelines.
- Participating in and contributing to team meetings
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree
- Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole

Previous experience working in a non-profit or government setting, working with immigrants or refugees with limited English proficiency, and previous experience teaching ESL is preferred but not required.
