Responsibilities:

- Loads and unloads trailers.
- Determines placement of product and transports to designated area.
- Positions lifting device under or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports loads to a designated area. Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
- Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to identify product to be moved. Reviews customer orders and determines product location.
- Attaches identifying tag(s) or label(s) to materials or marks pertinent information on cases, bales, or other containers.
- Counts and records number of material units moved or handled on daily production sheet.
- Completes a daily job card to accurately record job codes, order numbers, and time keeping.
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
- Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
- Operates hand held scanners (RF Equipment), computer systems (WMS), and may manually input additional data as required.
- Replaces propane tanks, recharges electric batteries, and changes batteries using battery crane.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in operating various types of forklifts, such as reach trucks, lift trucks, clamp trucks, and order pickers
- Experience with heavy equipment operation in a warehouse or distribution setting
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and order picking processes
- Ability to load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an organized warehouse layout
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions
