We are vertically integrated and oversee every process within the company, from our chicks hatching at our family-owned hatchery, being placed within our community of more than 180 farm families, to owning two feed mills that process our corn and soybean meal mixture. **Position Summary**

Provides leadership and supervises the production of broilers

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

- Provides consultation and direction necessary to enable broiler supervisors and others to produce broilers.
- Performs administrative duties in preparing and maintaining records, reviewing reports and following through on deviation from expected results.
- Directs strategic operational plans in broiler production
- Directs broiler supervisors and others in carrying out approved grow out program.
- Performs administrative duties in preparing and analyzing reports and records.
- Prepares broiler production budget.
- Actively pursues acquisition of information and/or skills related to the management of broiler production.
- Directs spray truck operation.
- Directs the delivery of litter material to broiler farms.
- Cooperates with Catch and Live haul Department in scheduling catch and live haul operations.
- Manages the training experience of broiler supervisors and others to continually improve knowledge and skills in successful broiler grow out.
- Actively recruits and enlists prospective broiler growers as needed.
- All other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Possess effective written and verbal communication skills and leadership skills.
- Be flexible in work hours to accommodate proper flock supervision. Job is 24/7.
- Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training, as provided by the company.
- Strong commitment to team work.
- Detail oriented and well organized.
- Reliable, dependable, is a self-starter with the ability to work independent
- Current driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- General knowledge of poultry science.
- Ability to work in outdoor environment.

**_ Compensation:_**

$75,000- 90,000 based on experience
