**Assistant Director, Capital Infrastructure Projects**:

**Description**
- Participates in the overall management of a single-sectioned office responsible for infrastructure and environmental engineering projects involving capital school construction and facilities improvement projects; leads in the planning, organizing, supervising, and evaluating the activities, program functions, personnel, physical, and fiscal resources of the assigned office; assists with strategic planning and goals.

**Qualifications**

Required
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree infrastructure engineering, construction project management, or a related field.
- Six (6) years of progressively more responsible experience leading complex projects related to infrastructure project management, capital construction, facilities improvement, or similar areas, some of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
- Must be available to direct essential personnel emergency response work in the evening hours or on weekends, as needed.
- Knowledge of infrastructure engineering principles, construction methods, and facilities improvement techniques.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations, and policies related to capital construction, ADA requirements, and environmental considerations.
- Skill in planning, organizing, and supervising capital infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
- Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to review work reports, analyze data, and make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.
- Ability to assist with strategic planning initiatives and set short-, medium, and long-term goals.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
- Ability to make major decisions on complex technical and administrative matters.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with various stakeholders, including school staff, families, community members, and high-level officials.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Preferred
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
