**Respite/Child Care Worker**

- What exactly does Respite/Child Care do? _Respite care and childcare provides short-term relief for primary caregivers, giving them time to rest, travel, or spend time with other family and friends.
- We are looking for an individual interested in providing care for a pre-teen client so mom can get time to rest, relax and recharge_

Pay:

- $8.40/hr. for childcare
- $15.22/hr. for respite care

Schedule:

- **Care is to start September.**:

- Occasional _childcare_ on weekdays (when kiddo is not attending after-school programs) 3p.m.5p.m.
- Occasional _respite care_ on weekends (to include overnights)

**Tasks**:

- Care is to be provided in kiddo’s home. Once rapport is established, community outings are also encouraged.
- May need to occasionally assist with getting kiddo off bus and transitioned home.
- Assisting with mealtimes when needed (needs assistance prepping and cutting foods)
- Promoting and giving verbal cues for toileting.

- hang out and have fun This kiddo loves sensory activities, watching movies, and singing.

Qualifications:

- Valid Driver's License
- Must pass background check.
- Must be ok with dogs.

*If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $8.40 - $15.22 per hour
