Food Runners support the operations in several ways. The top priority of Runner is running food. Second, they will also be circulating the dining room and assisting with bussing, cleanliness, table resets and all details

**Daily Responsibilities**:

- Assists with guest request and server requests
- Running Food
- Picks up debris and cleans any spills or grease on the floor
- Maintains overall cleanliness of the dining room. Checks chairs, banquettes, as well as underneath tables
- Operates as a member of the team, helping others and requesting help as needed
- Resets tables according to the floor plan
- Helps clear tables with the assistance of a server
- Remarks tables corresponding to the server section you are obligated to
- Water service and maintenance
- Restocking of the server station with silverware, plate ware and glassware
- Crumbing of tables
- Serves as the liaison between the FOH and BOH and helps ensure a smooth service
- Barista duties

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
- May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Must provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.

**Skills / Experience**:

- 6 months previous bar, restaurant or hotel experience
- California Food Handler preferred but not required.
- RBS Certified
- Barista experience is a plus
- Excellent listener & communicator
- Ability to focus on guest interaction and multitask
- Team player and able to anticipate others needs
- Positive Attitude
