**Southern California IBEW-NECA Admin Corp**
- Account Receivable Clerk /or Payroll Clerk**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Effectively interact with Employers and Participants, written and verbally, in order to provide information regarding Employer reporting and/or reporting discrepancies and assist with complex billing/collection needs.
- Process Employer reports and payments.
- Identify, document and prepare Employer refund requests.
- Process Cash Entries (ACH/Lockbox)
- Monitor and process payments (audits, job reports, payment plans etc.)
- Monitor and escalate referrals to Legal Counsel
- Prepare Payment Plans, Audit and Job Report Payments
- Training of newly hired/newly promoted staff may be required.

**Education**
- An Associate’s degree in Accounting or closely related field with at least 3+ years Accounting related work experience required or combination of equitable work experience in a core business related background.

**Experience & Requirements**
- Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, detailed oriented
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Intermediate work experience and knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word (sort function & mail merge)
- Ability to understand and obtain needed information from reports
- Prior experience in Taft-Hartley Multi-Employer Employee Benefits Funds in the Building and Construction trades, highly preferred
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills; ability to multi-task; and work under mínimal supervision
- May be required to lift and move boxes (average of 10 pounds)
- Ability to work **on-site Monday through Friday, 8:30a.m.5:30p.m**. and may be required to work overtime depending on the departmental needs.

**Compensation**
- Competitive hourly wage rate of $26.99-$29.67 (compensation will be commensurate with experience, skills, education and training).
