**Overview**

We are a busy four-provider OB/GYN medical practice in Peterborough, NH. The Medical Assistant supports the providers through exemplary patient care and service.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Greeting and welcoming patients

Checking vital signs

Organizing and coordinating patient intake and other appointments

Accurately entering/updating patient demographics information in system

Accurately entering/updating patient information and history in our electronic medical record

Scanning, updating and filing medical records

Answering phone calls, patient questions, etc. in a prompt and polite manner

**Qualifications**

High School Diploma

Current CMA license, current LNA license, or prior experience as a medical assistant required

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Detail-oriented and a team player

Computer Proficiency and superior keyboarding skills

Happy, welcoming, and can-do attitude with patients and co-workers

Flexible/adaptable nature to work in a continuously evolving environment

Ability to effectively interact with physicians, patients and other staff members

Prior phlebotomy experience preferred

**Physical Requirements**

Ability to sit and stand for periods of time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
