Content Writer

**Position Overview**:
**Essential Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Research, write and edit engaging articles for websites and posting on social media as well as marketing collateral, video scripts and proposals
- Develop content ideas that are in keeping with the overarching themes and effectively and positively convey the intended message
- Write and edit content for clarity, messaging, readability, ease of comprehension and consistency of voice
- Proofread written products for spelling, usage, typographical, and grammatical errors

**Required Skills**:

- Proven writing and editing skills for the web and social media resulting in compelling, customer focused, high quality content
- Understanding of keywords and meta tags
- Ability to write web page titles, meta tag descriptions, alt tags for images etc.
- Proven ability to effectively implement SEO
- Superior command of the English language including rules and usage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to write in a variety of styles appropriate for multiple audience types
- Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Proven interpersonal communication skills, particularly where information must be conveyed in a clear and convincing way
- Ability to professionally interact with clients and company individuals at all levels
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, EXCEL, Outlook, SharePoint, Project, Power Point)
- Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks

**Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience in digital content writing and editing

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, or related field required

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
