Welcome to Bosch. The Lincolnton, NC Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center is located approximately 30 miles from Charlotte. The facility employs just under 500 full time associates in a 5-shift operation, which encompasses 235,000 sq ft. along with 12,000 skus. In addition to the conversion, customizing and packaging activities, abrasives are now a big part of our power tool accessory business. ISO certified, our associates engage in BPS, CIP and 5S. Perform preventive, scheduled and emergency maintenance of production machinery & equipment.
Install, commission, maintain, diagnose and repair various types of production machinery & equipment, including repair of electric and electronic systems.
Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Maintain safe, clean and efficient work and storage areas during the execution of maintenance work.
Overtime may be required, possibly with minimum advance notice.
Willing to move to different shifts.
Willing to respond to emergency calls.
Perform other essential or related peripheral duties as may be assigned.
**Qualifications**
- Associate’s degree* in relevant field OR high school degree* with 2 years relevant work experience.
- Practical experience with power and control systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, CNC controls).
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- PLC controls - previous exposure required.
- Familiar with OSHA and BetP safety regulations.
- Willing to work on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift as needed.
- Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Able to read mechanical, electrical and facility drawings.
- Ability to use manual and power hand tools.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing to learn continuously.
