**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the restaurant.
- Accurately process customer orders, including taking orders, inputting them into the POS system, and handling cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Answer customer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and pricing in a knowledgeable and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure accurate and timely order preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station, including cleaning surfaces, restocking supplies, and arranging menus and promotional materials.
- Monitor and manage wait times during peak hours to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to uphold a positive customer experience.
- Assist with additional tasks such as bussing tables, refilling condiments, and restocking inventory as needed.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by fostering open communication, cooperation, and teamwork.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or retail setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred but not required.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods and move freely around the cashier station and restaurant.
- Capability to lift and carry moderate weights, such as trays of food or beverage supplies.
- Manual dexterity for operating POS systems, handling cash, and processing transactions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Shift:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift

Weekly day range:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
