Essential Job Functions:

- Responsible for keeping the shop and yard clean daily
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the yard bathrooms
- Assist the Shop manager on some minor truck repairs
- Ability to run errands for the Shop manager
- Do what is needed to maintain proper workflow
- Maintain organized work area and proper condition of equipment
- Cleaning trucks and equipment regularly
- Assist management as needed

Qualifications:

- Highschool Diploma or equivalent and 4 years work experience in a shop or yard
- Ability to read and understand manuals
- Have good communication skills to troubleshoot work
- Demonstrate ability to improve on efficiency, speed, and workflow
- Ability to complete work assigned by the supervisor and handle autonomy
- MUST be bilingual English/Spanish
- Pass pre-employment background check & drug screen
- Must have a clean driving record and be insurable

Physical Requirements:

- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs

**Job Type**:

- Full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly: $26.85 an hour per our union CBA, with annual increases outlined in the CBA
- Full benefits through the union upon completing 300 hours of employment.

Pay: $26.85 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
