Medicall Billing

Immediate full time opening for billing/collection person in an Imaging Diagnostic Center. Must have minimum of three years experience specifically in Medical Imaging.
Great salary and bonus. The imaging center is located in North West Houston.

Job description:

- Electronic billing, coding
- Handling patient billing calls
- Reviewing claim EDI rejections
- Reviewing claim denials and resolving root denial issues through reconsiderations, appeals, and other resolution actions.
- Code referring physician, insurance, and provider, place of service, date of service Complete all interface steps including checking required data fields before adding charges
- Auto and worker compensation information needed for billing
- Verify, adjust, and correct bills to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and third party billing requirements, rules, and regulations.
- Reviews account information and able to explain charges and other related inquiries while complying with HIPAA guidelines.
- BILLING OUT ALL PROCEDURES PERFOMRED AT TOS WITH ACCEPTABLE DIAGNOSIS CODES FOR REIMBURSEMENT
- VERIFY BENEFITS FOR ALL PROCEDURES
- FOLLOW UP WITH DENIED CLAIMS ONLINE OR OVER THE PHONE BEFORE TIMELY FILING DEADLINE
- OBTAIN A/R LIST AND COLLECT

Pay: $41,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
