**Summary**:
Our high-quality products are designed to meet the diverse needs of our clientele and are available through our wholesale and retail online storefronts and selected third-party marketplaces. As we aim to both optimize our existing sales channels and expand our reach into new online marketplaces, we are seeking an experienced and driven Ecommerce Marketplace Manager to join our team.

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Ecommerce Marketplace Manager will span four primary areas:

- Managing product listings, promotions, and content across all online sales channels
- Evaluating, implementing, and managing additional third-party marketplaces
- Improving customer experience and sales performance in owned online storefronts
- Overseeing third-party agency tasked with supporting our growth on Amazon marketplace

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Improve ecommerce experience for retail and trade groups through product merchandising and promotional strategies
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on key seasonal, launch, and sales events; execute promotions and merchandising accordingly across storefronts
- Establish benchmarks and create/execute plans to improve conversion and revenue performance across owned and third-party marketplaces
- Oversee operations, product merchandising, and promotional strategy/setup for third-party marketplaces
- Assess fit and manage implementation of additional third-party marketplaces such as Wayfair, Home Depot, Faire, Target, TikTok Shop, and Instagram Shop
- Lead contract negotiation and manage ongoing business relationship with each marketplace where/as applicable
- Explore content syndication solutions to ensure consistency and eliminate manual data management
- Serve as primary contact for third-party Amazon agency; ensure alignment to internal goals and merchandising
- Demonstrate ecommerce best practices on owned sites in order to help achieve acquisition and conversion goals
- Maintain engaging and seasonally relevant landing pages
- Regularly audit and ‘shop’ online storefronts for product or site issues
- Frequently review site and marketplace analytics to inform data-driven strategies and changes
- Conduct competitive research and develop strategies to stay ahead of competitors
- Collaborate with VP Operations on inventory efficiency
- Supervise and support development of Ecommerce Specialist

**Requirements**:

- 4+ years in ecommerce, operations, sales, or digital marketing
- Proficiency in ecommerce platforms (ideally Magento 2)
- Deep understanding of website technology and ecommerce trends
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Excel: able to interpret data and use it to make informed decisions; comfortable navigating, combining, and manipulating large data sets; capable of showcasing this proficiency and providing training to the Ecommerce Specialist
- Baseline knowledge of HTML/CSS and SEO principles

**Preferred Skills and Experience**:

- Commercial experience with third-party marketplaces such as Amazon, Wayfair, eBay, etc.
- Experience with Google Analytics 4, Looker, or Netsuite
- Familiarity with project management systems (we use Asana)
- Passion for or knowledge about plants, landscaping, or architectural design

**Team Schedule**:

- In-office 9:30am-3pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with flexible lunch as needed
- Location-flexible Thursday and Friday

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
