Kennel Aide

**Kennel aides** are responsible for cleaning the kennel, caring for, and providing “TLC” to all our animal guests. Aides should be able to work well independently and with others. Aides should posses a high attention to detail in their work. Aides will be working closely with cats and dogs. Applicants should enjoy working with animals and have a strong knowledge of animal behavior. Kennel aides may also be asked to assist in kennel maintenance, including but not limited to: painting fences, pen repair, and general grounds work. Kennel aides will be expected to perform varying physical tasks such but not limited to intensive cleaning and lifting upwards of 50 lbs. The position requires varying degrees of outdoor work year round, so applicants must be comfortable with working in varying weather conditions.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
