Internal Auditor- Fair

Under general supervision, Auditors will perform a variety of auditing work of concessionaires and parking sellers. Auditors will verify that all procedures are in place and being adhered to.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Performs detailed audits of concession stands and parking sellers
- Prepares written reports of audited stands and sellers, including results and recommendations
- Verify alcohol stands are asking for proper ID as required
- Look for accuracy in cash handling and recording of sales
- Review cash register tapes for trends and accuracy and prepare reports for Internal Audit Supervisor
- Other duties as assigned

**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES**
- Must have good mathematical skills
- Must be able to analyze information quickly and accurately
- Must be able to work independently, be detailed oriented, and be able to work efficiently in a fast pace environment
- Must be able to effectively present information both written and verbally in one-to-one and small group situations to managers, vendors, and other employees of the organization
- Must be proficient in Excel and Word
- Position requires confidentiality and the highest standards of business ethics
- Must be able to operate a 10-key calculator by touch

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB**
- Must be able to communicate over the telephone
- Must be able to access, input, and retrieve data using a computer
- Must have a valid California Driver License and a clean driving record
- Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time
- Must be able to walk the entire fairgrounds and stand for extended periods, with regular breaks
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
- Must be able to work in extreme weather, such as heat, cold, or rain
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work every day of the L.A. County Fair
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
