Industrial Estimator

**Industrial Estimator & Projects Administrator**:
Progressive Industrial, a well-established Industrial contractor in the Hampton Roads area, is currently looking for an Industrial Estimator & Projects Administrator. Previous experience in industrial estimating and a crucial eye for detail are a must. Industrial and fabrication shop experience is a plus.

Job duties for the **Industrial Estimator** position include but are not limited to:

- Assisting Project Managers (PM) as they Bid work. Help PMs determine scope and understanding of jobs through site visits, blueprint reading and estimating the various costs associated with potential new and existing jobs.
- Labor estimating and manpower projection
- Purchasing and Direct Material ordering for jobs as needed

Job Duties for the **Projects Administrator** position include, but are not limited to:

- Assists the bidding process by organizing contracts and bid sheets
- Scheduling and planning the job with the PM
- Throughout the job, managing the paperwork needed, which includes, but not limited to:

- Condition Reports
- Timesheets
- Daily Reports
- Accident/incident Reports
- Receipt tracking and input
- Ensuring all paperwork is in order to efficiently invoice and closeout as needed

Needed experience for this position includes:

- Bidding and Estimating for a Subcontractor
- Experience with Blueprint reading
- 15+ years of Industrial experience, both as a craft-person and in Supervision
- An understanding of Contractor manning, equipment, and craft jobs (i.e., welding, machining, electrical, etc.) is a must
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organization skills and a desire to create and develop new processes
