**Job Summary**

The Director of Information Technology will oversee all aspects of IT, including systems, networks, cloud services, and IT security. Responsibilities will encompass system management, operations, and maintenance, as well as budget management and contract oversight. The Director will evaluate and enhance information systems operations in alignment with business and management objectives, focusing on factors such as cost, quality, information security, and compliance with policies. Additionally, the Director will provide support for system and software design, development, integration processes, and ensure user-friendly interfaces with help resources.

**Job Responsibilities, Required Knowledge, Skills**

- Ability to familiarize with company documents including policies and procedures and the company Towing Management Systems (T.S.M.S)

- Accomplish IT department financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action

- Conduct operational and security reviews before solution implementation and migration
- Define and implement support standards to provide a secure computing environment and minimize variability throughout the enterprise
- Develop and manage company information systems, network systems, PC hardware, and software, promoting efficient use of technology
- Establish and simulate software development standards and processes along with best practices for the delivery of scalable and high-quality software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Guide, coach, and mentor system/network services and software development staff.
- Implement disaster recovery, backup procedures, information security, and control structures
- Implement improvements and review changes to network security

- Maintain operating systems, design and test code for company systems and software to ensure efficiency
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
- Manage technical support (internal and external system interfaces), network administration, and help desk operation
- Manage the implementation and control of API and EDI exchanges
- Manage the voice and data communication systems
- Must be a team player and support the mission, vision, and goals of the company and the department
- Must be service-oriented and customer-centric to all internal and external customers
- Must possess strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to employ the strengths of (IT/IS) to solve business issues while managing costs and risk
- Negotiate purchases, licenses, hardware and software installations, and support services
- Oversee data conversion from information sources into corporate systems
- Prepare lifecycles for different projects inclusive of research, development, design, evaluation, and testing along with delivery to operations
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, test resolutions, and escalate common issues
