Job Title**:Bilingual Counseling Advocate**

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Reports To: Counseling Advocacy Manager

**Job Purpose**

Counseling Advocate provides trauma-informed case management, counseling advocacy, and group sessions to victims and survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.

**Responsibilities**
- Identify and prioritize clients’ self-identified case management and counseling needs. Develop customized plans.
- Make initial contact with clients within 24 hours of being assigned the case.
- Conduct trauma-informed, survivor-centered, goal-oriented counseling advocacy with clients on a regular basis.
- Provide crisis intervention to walk-in clients as needed.
- Co-facilitate group sessions on various relevant topics.
- Provide referrals for needed services to appropriate agencies and providers.
- Update and maintain accurate client charts.
- Provide updates to the Counseling Advocacy Manager.
- Additional responsibility as a Medical Advocate.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Education and Experience**
- Associate’s degree in social services or a related field
- Three years of experience providing social services to individuals and groups.
- Fluent in Spanish

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
