Bookkeeping Assistant

**Location: Cockeysville MD 21030**

**Job Type: Part-Time (30-35 hours per week)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions and managing accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor company cash flow.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries as requested by the Head Bookkeeper.
- Support payroll processing and ensure timely payment of employees.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Help with preparing and filing tax documents.
- Collaborate with the Head Bookkeeper to streamline accounting processes and improve financial accuracy.
- Handle other administrative tasks as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role.
- Basic understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Trustworthy and committed to maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent
