**Responsibilities**
- Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of trailers.
- Perform PM and D.O.T inspections.
- Van and reefer trailer body repair.
- Wheel end repairs.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures as well as legal regulations
- Prepare and maintain handwritten and computer-generated work records of garage activities
**General Requirements**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Trailer Technician
- Ability to obtain state certifications.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with oxygen/acetylene torches
- Experience with MIG welding
- Provide your own tools
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre employment physical, drug screen, and background check
**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach, push/pull, grasp tools, lift/carry 50lbs
- Ability to work in outdoor and noisy environments
