Yard Worker/forklift Operator

American Fence is a family owned and operated business for over 65 years.

We are looking to hire an All-Around person for our League City, TX location.

We retail and wholesale fence materials, farm and ranch equipment / supplies and other hardware related items. We offer competitive pay, health insurance and a company funded retirement plan. We are looking for a stable **"CAREER MINDED"** individual who considers themselves a hard worker, honest, with a positive attitude, and is a self starter.

Work includes but is not limited to the warehouse, showroom floor and/or outside material yard duties.
- Stocking Inventory, checking in merchandise, maintaining a neat and organized workplace
- Loading and unloading cargo onto and from trucks
- Material handling requiring heavy lifting, organizing and displaying products
- Customer sales and service
- Forklift operation - previous skills a plus but not required (will train)

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

- _**Must be dependable**_
- Good communication skills and problem solving abilities
- Must be able to work well with coworkers as part of a team
- Customer focused and high customer service skills
- A good understanding of basic math skills
- Requires being able to work through hot summers and long hours.
- Outside yard work and inside warehouse work
- **Bilingual Preferred (preferible bilingue)**

Hours Open: Monday through Friday 8-5:30 and Saturday 8-12

**Rotating weekends**
