_Branch Manager/Project Manager_

Octagon Cleaning and Restoration is seeking to hire a dynamic Branch Manager/Project Manager. We are a local restoration company that specializes in water damage mitigation, mold remediation, fire/smoke restoration and asbestos abatement. We are looking for an entrepreneurial professional, who is energetic, and determined with amazing attention to detail.

Our Branch Manager/Project Manager will work at all levels of the business, providing guidance and oversight to project managers and technicians, estimating, and managing jobs to ensure quality control, hiring and training of staff, and ensuring all systems and processes are followed. Core duties will be ensuring smooth operations and growth of the Meredith branch. This is a blended position that will consist of duties of both a branch manager and project manager/estimator. This position directly reports to our General Manager

Water, mold, fire, asbestos, or IICRC certifications are a plus.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Hiring & training of staff
- Ensure quality control and customer service that will generate 5 star reviews
- Track and manage profitability of branch
- Maintain supplies and equipment at appropriate levels
- Maintain appropriate positive relationships with vendors, subcontractors, referral sources and community contacts
- Ability to Inspect job types we provides service for
- Ensure proper use of PPE by staff
- Effectively able to diagnose and develop appropriate estimate/job scope to restore clients property to pre-loss condition.
- Responsible for writing and delivering accurate estimates to the appropriate persons in a timely manner.
- Estimate jobs according to IICRC and company standards. Provide all supporting documentation when applicable.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by General Manager
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures

**Work Experience Requirements**:
**This position requires relevant industry experience, superior communication and organization skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to use Xactimate, knowledge of mold regulations / protocols, WRT certification, knowledge of lead / asbestos, working knowledge of HVAC, ability to follow indoor air quality (IAQ) reports and read blueprints. Position will include scoping IAQ jobs, pricing IAQ jobs, maintaining strong sales numbers and revenue targets, and, communicating all project details to appropriate team members.**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, managers and customers and 3rd party vendors
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Must possess computer skills to effectively use Microsoft office, industry management software, and estimating software (Xactimate)
- Adhere to all safety protocols including the use of PPE (personal protective equipment), comply with all applicable OSHA safety and health requirements
- Must be have a clean driving record and pass a background check
- Must be available to field phone calls from our week end on call employees on a rotating basis

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be comfortable wearing all PPE including respirators, Tyvek suits, gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, bump caps, etc.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to perform safely in varying weather conditions and temperatures
- Ability to work in confined spaces or heights
- Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and crouch for long periods of time
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with IICRC, other federal, state and local standards, including meeting quality and productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
