Adult Daycare Biller

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Biller to join our team. As a Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for medical services. Your attention to detail and knowledge of medical coding and billing systems will contribute to the financial success of our organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review and analyze medical records to determine appropriate coding for billing purposes
- Assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG coding systems
- Ensure compliance with all relevant coding guidelines and regulations
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies or other third-party payers
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation or clarification for billing purposes
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with medical collections as needed

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in medical coding systems, including ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG coding
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
- Knowledge of insurance guidelines and reimbursement processes
- Ability to navigate billing software systems effectively
- Strong communication skills for interacting with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
