As a Mail Handler for Tripster Developers, you will be responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and other correspondence within the organization. Your primary objective will be to ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail to the appropriate recipients while maintaining efficient mailroom operations. You will play a crucial role in supporting internal communication and facilitating external correspondence to contribute to the smooth functioning of the company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive incoming mail, packages, and parcels from postal carriers and couriers. Sort mail according to department, recipient, or designated area within the organization. Distribute mail to the appropriate recipients or departments in a timely manner.
- Receive and process incoming packages and deliveries. Inspect packages for damage or discrepancies and verify recipient information. Notify recipients of package arrivals and coordinate pickup or delivery as needed.
- Collect outgoing mail and packages from designated areas within the organization. Ensure proper packaging and labeling of outgoing mail items. Arrange for pickup or delivery with postal carriers and courier services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the mailroom and sorting areas. Arrange mailroom supplies, equipment, and storage areas for efficient operation. Monitor inventory levels of shipping materials, envelopes, and postage stamps.
- Record incoming and outgoing mail transactions in the mailroom log or electronic tracking system. Maintain accurate records of mail volume, delivery times, and recipient information. Prepare reports on mailroom activities as required.
- Handle sensitive or confidential mail items with discretion and confidentiality. Follow established procedures for handling registered mail, certified mail, and other specialized mail services. Ensure compliance with privacy and security policies.
- Provide assistance and support to employees regarding mail services, postage requirements, and shipping inquiries. Address any concerns or issues related to mail delivery promptly and professionally. Serve as a point of contact for external vendors or service providers.
- Implement security measures to safeguard incoming and outgoing mail. Monitor access to the mailroom and ensure that only authorized personnel handle mail items. Report any suspicious activities or security breaches to appropriate authorities.

Pay: $28.14 - $29.85 per hour
